It was six years ago today that I learned that Dearest (Alice) had died.
It was especially bittersweet because we recently came home from vacation through JFK airport a couple days ago. JFK was the last place I ever saw Alice alive.
These years has been a challenge with me missing my best friend, and the challenges of the site she left behind.
Everywhere in my home, there are gifts and letters/cards she sent, emails I printed out, reminders all over. I’ll see something on TV and think that Alice and I will have a laugh over that – then I remember all over again.
I miss you so much, Alice! 😦
